We created a volucap of Paul Kalkbrenner for his new music video, „Schwer“! Breaking new ground in music video production, our collaboration with Paul Kalkbrenner for his latest music video redefines the boundaries of creativity and technology. The video, a unique interpretation of ‘Fremdkörper’ (foreign body), stands as a significant stride in the application of 4D volumetric capture technology. The groundbreaking feature of “Schwer” lies in its production process. No individuals were filmed on set; instead, they were scanned as 4D figures and digitally incorporated into various scenes. To achieve the highest resolution volucaps, it was crucial to conduct the shootings at Volucap Studio 2.0. This approach gives freedom and flexibility when deciding where exactly to place a person in a room and from which angle to film.
